Privacy Policy

Who we are

Anting (“we”, “us”) provides a governed library of reusable AI skills (“Ants”) and related workspace tools for professional teams. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal data when you use our websites, application, and MCP services.

For privacy requests, contact support@anting.ai.

Data we collect

Account data: email address, display name, authentication identifiers, and workspace membership/roles.

Workspace content: Ants (plans, steps, versions), usage events, shares/grants, uploaded sources you attach to Ants, and configuration such as model-provider settings (API keys are stored in a secrets vault and are not readable in application tables).

Technical data: IP address, device/browser metadata, approximate location derived from IP, and logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Cookies and similar technologies: essential session cookies for sign-in and workspace selection; optional analytics cookies only if you consent (see our Cookie Policy).

How we use data

To provide, secure, and improve Anting (authentication, multi-tenant isolation, MCP tool access, billing, support).

To communicate about the service (security notices, product updates you opt into).

To analyse product usage in aggregate when you have consented to analytics.

To comply with law and enforce our Terms.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for); legitimate interests (security, product improvement with safeguards); consent (non-essential cookies/analytics); and legal obligation where required.

Sharing

We use subprocessors listed on our Subprocessors page (hosting, auth, email, payments, analytics, AI model providers you configure). We do not sell personal data.

Within a workspace, visibility of Ants follows product sharing and admin governance rules — content is not shared outside your company unless you or an admin configure sharing or connect external tools.

Retention

We retain account and workspace data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, disputes, and legal requirements. Append-only audit records (e.g. usage events, version history) may be retained longer for integrity of the audit trail. You may request deletion or export via Settings → Privacy & data or by emailing support.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Use in-product controls where available, or contact support. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

International transfers

We may process data in the EU and other regions via our infrastructure and subprocessors. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).

Children

Anting is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date above and, where appropriate, additional notice in the product.
